Getman Corporation reaches completion of its diesel powered Battery Transporter.

Getman Corporation is proud to have released its first diesel powered Battery Transporter into operation at Air Quality mine in the Illinois Coal Basin. Capable of hauling both Joy or Bucyrus batteries up to 25,000 lbs on each end, the BT is intended to reduce the frequency with which charging stations have to be moved, as well as boost coal hauler productivity and prolong battery service life. Getman Corporation has completed a prototype unit of the new generation of Getman Personel Vehicles, the Getman Transport Series. Abbreviated the GT12, the first model is capable of carrying 12 people at a time, with advanced four wheel drive and four wheel steer capabilities, along with a durable frame and smooth ride. |
