A-64 Scissor LiftDiesel-powered elevated work platform for safer, more productive overhead maintenance and constructionClick here to ask questions specific to your application. A-64 Scissor Lift general features
Engine/drivetrainDeutz, Cummins or Detroit Diesel (Mercedes), ranging from 138 hp to 173 hp (120 kW to 129 kW). Matched engine, converter, transmission and axle components provide power to climb all inclines while keeping low diesel emissions. Equipped with full reversing power shift transmissions and planetary drive axles with in-board wet disc brakes. Chassis optionsAnsul automatic Checkfire II fire suppression with linear detection loop. Wiggins fill for fuel, engine oil, engine coolant, hydraulic oil and transmission oil. Emergency stop button on rear frame. Central manual lubrication manifolds. Lincoln automatic lubrication. Electrical systemNEMA enclosures mounted in engine area contain starter relay, alternator and instrument panel circuit breakers, while NEMA enclosure containing electrical circuit breakers is mounted in the frame, readily accessible from ground level. Provides convenient locations for circuit breaker reset and diagnostic work. Scissor arms and work platformThree-stage, single-acting cylinders with in-line flow limiters prevent uncontrolled descent in the event of hose failure or when loose rock would shear hoses from the hoist cylinders. Counter-balance valves are also available. Relief valves limit the possibility of damage from excessive forces. Computerized design ensures that load stresses and stability are within limitations imposed by international standards throughout the operating range of motion, eliminating human error. Pins are non-destruct tested and lot numbered for certified quality assurance. Scissor arm assemblies are warranted for five years or 10,000 hours of operation against material or workmanship defects. An optional telescopic ladder provides maximum operational flexibility for work crews and allows them to descend without interrupting work in progress. Engine start/stop/fire suppression on platform. Stabilizers and leveling jacksStabilizers range from standard 610 mm stroke units to high-lift jacks for leveling the platform when working on ramps to provide less risk of slipping. Optional 1,220 mm stroke leveling jacks allow a level working surface on inclines up to 12%, 1:7. Stabilizers are supplied with internal pilot check valves for assured safety, and controls are isolated from platform control, ensuring that stabilizer jacks cannot be retracted without deliberate action by operating crew.
